Maths - Individual Statistical Investigations

As we have been focusing on Statistics these past few weeks, the children are now conducting their own statistical investigations.

The children have thought of questions they would like to fin more information about, such as, what is your favourite type of book genre, how long do you spend on homework each night, how much pocket money do you earn in a week, or a physical challenge (100m, distance you can throw a shotput).

Today the children continued to collect their data and this week they will organsie that data, graph it, analyse it and draw conclusions from it. They will present their findings in a presentation style of their choice.

It is really exciting to see all the children so engaged and so motivated in this learning challenge.
